Homepages Web Server

The UITS Homepages Server offers web accounts to faculty, staff, graduate students and sponsored student organizations.

These basic web services give individuals and groups the ability to create and post a web presence using

• HTML and,
• CGI (note, CGI requires justification and approval).

The Homepages Server does not support

• PHP
• MySQL
• Python, or
• any other dynamic web generation technologies other then Perl.

All web accounts provide command-line access to basic UNIX utilities. Accounts can be accessed in a variety of ways.
