ARNAB K. DEB








I am a fifth year Ph. D student in Economics at the University of Connecticut. My research interests include Applied Microeconomics, Data Envelopment Analysis, Mathematical and Quantitative Methods in Economics. My dissertation thesis examines the impacts of Indian Economic Reform on productivity growth of the Indian manufacturing sector.

Teaching fascinates me. During my graduate studies at the University of Connecticut I have taught four distinct upper division courses – Economics of Poverty, Labor Economics (W), Operations Research, and Intermediate Microeconomics – as well as Introductory Microeconomics.


I will be available for job interviews at the Annual AEA/ASSA meeting in Chicago from Jnuary 6 to January 8, 2012.
