WE HAVE A NEW JONATHAN!!!
Jonathan the 13th was born on December 17th 2006 and made his way to Connecticut on September 29th 2007 from Easton PA. He lives with a host family that the Fraternity selected. An anonymous donor donated the money to get Jonathan. The breeders are Amy and Matt Gerber of The Northern Manor. His trainer is Mark Renick of Connecticut Canine and Behavioral Sciences. His vet is All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Coventry CT. Pets Plus on 351 Boston Post Rd North Windham, CT sponsor Jonathan.
In 1970 the Student Senate, the predecessor to today's Undergraduate Student Government, voted to sell Jonathan because the dog "represented the establishment." A student petition kept the dog on campus and we took over the responsibility for the management of the live dog that same year.
