Fall 2012 Archery Schedule

Practice has now started to the fall of 2012.

Currently the team meets on Sundays from 1pm-3pm and Wednesdays 3pm-5pm at Hawley Armory both times.

Congratulations to Liz Didan on making the US Archery World Team

Liz Didan 2011 USIACS

The University of Connecticut is located in Northeast Connecticut and is known as one of the premier State Universities in New England. The Archery Club was reinstated in 2006-07, and is now recognized as a Club Sport.

The Archery Team is actively competing at the Regional and National Level.

The UConn Archery Club hosts two indoor tournaments: a Fall Classic in November and a Cupid Classic in February; and two outdoor tournaments: an Open tournament and a Collegiate tournament, both in April.

The UConn Archery Club welcomes archers of all levels to attend, equipment is available for use. We have an indoor shooting facility as well as outdoor field space and currently practice three times per week.

The UConn Archery Team is coached by David Avery.

The University of Connecticut is looking for compound and recurve shooters.
